Mixed Cultivation is the ecologically and economically justified and human- induced simultaneous growth of several crop species on the same area. Mixed cultivation, when properly composed, is intended to avoid the disadvantages of monocultures. Outside of crop cultivation, a mixture of different plants is called a plant society. What does this mean in relation to PRE-FUEL plus CARBON-CAPURE Technique? The following example illustrates it most clearly: In Germany, wheat is grown on ~ 2 million hectares. On average, 7 - 8 tonnes of wheat are harvested per hectare = 15 million tonnes annually. If the wheat is cultivated together with the oil plant Camelina, the wheat yield is slightly reduced by ~ 1 to/ha; but an additional ~ 3 to/ha of Camelina seeds are harvested. The joint yield thus increases significantly without increasing the area under cultivation. The old "death blow argument": „Biofuels are at the expense of land used for food production“ has been sustainably refuted. In the following we show the great potentials and advantages that lie in mixed-crop cultivation.
Today Monoculture - Wheat in Germany
On 2 million hectares ~15 million tonnes of wheat flour
Tomorrow Mixed cultivation - Wheat/Camelina - in Germany
On 2 million hectares - ~ 13million tons of wheat flour 4 million tons of Camelina flour Total flour yield 17 million tonnes ~ 2 million tonnes flour surplus yield
On 2 million hectares - an additional 2 million tons of vegetable oil ~ 2 billion litres
Advantages of the PRE-FUEL plus CARBON-CAPURE Technique mixed cultivation: More food yield without additional land Additional production of a CO2 neutral pure natural fuel. If in mixed cultivation the entire plant mass - wheat and camelina - is converted to bio-coal and introduced into the soil as a soil improver, the amount of CO2 reduction from the air, related to the litre of PRE-FUEL plus CARBON-CAPURE Technique, rises from 5 kg to 10 kg/litre. Camelina makes mono-crops bloom - 2 million hectares more flowering landscapes, which is a gain for bio-diversity. Camelina prevented the unchecked spread of "un-weeds" and supports wheat, so sprays can be dispensed with. Bio-farming through the mixed cultivation of PRE-FUEL plus CARBON-CAPURE Technique More yields for agriculture without additional land. If the wheat/camelina mixed crop were cultivated throughout Europe, ~ 26 million m 3 of PRE-FUEL plus CARBON-CAPURE Technique could be obtained from it! With an average diesel consumption per car of ~ 500 litres/year, 52 million cars could be driven for a year with 26 million m 3 of PRE- FUEL plus CARBON-CAPURE Technique! If the mixed cultivation were extended to include other crops, such as rye, and if all other areas outside the European Community were included, such as the huge and very fertile Ukraine, the supply would quickly increase very considerably. Conclusion: Mixed cropping shows a fast and efficient way to produce large amounts of PRE- FUEL plus CARBON-CAPURE Technique without adding one square metre of arable land and without food reduction. On the contrary, large amounts of additional food would be produced. Mixed cultivation for the production of PRE-FUEL plus CARBON-CAPURE Technique would revolutionise the entire fuel supply in short term. In contrast to the current concepts, such as e-mobility, H2-vehicles and / or artificial fuels, the alleged CO2 freedom is not bought with child labour, environmental destruction, waste of resources and landscape destruction. On the contrary, mixed cultivation for the production of PRE-FUEL plus CARBON- CAPURE Technique is a real win-win situation. The PRE-FUEL plus CARBON-CAPURE Technique mixed cultivation is Organic farming at the highest level
